How to play bingo

Rules of Bingo
In Bingo the goal is to get a straight with five numbers. Players are provided with a grid that contains five rows and columns i.e. 25 squares. The player can either choose the numbers himself or the numbers are drawn by a machine.
Normally the numbers are from 1-70 or from 1-90. After the grids are filled, the bingo machine calls random numbers, and the task of the players is to mark the number called, that can be found from one’s own grid.
The player who first marks all numbers from a whole row or column wins the game. In bingo halls the custom is to loudly yell “Bingo!” when this happens. In the internet, the software does this on behalf of the player.
When one player gets one straight he indeed wins, but the next winner is the one who gets two straights, then the one who gets three straights and then four straights. The ultimate winner is the one who is the first to have all the numbers of the grid called.

History of Bingo
