5. The bet does not matter
Some players believe that the chances to win are the same, no matter what you bet on. The bet of yours, however, affects your chances. For instance, in European roulette table, there are 36 numbers to bet on and if you happen to bet on the correct number you win your bet multiplied with 35.
Betting on blacks or reds gives a chance of 50% to get your money doubled. If you can utilize en prison-rule, the house edge is only a bit greater than one percent.
